Meet the Flute Teacher

Hi, I'm Anamarie!

I am a flute teacher and performer! I started playing the flute when I was in my 6th grade band.

I started DiazFlute studio in 2020 hoping to help young flutists grow and gain confidence not only in their music playing but in all aspects of their life!

One of my favorite things about playing the flute is playing with other musicians and playing pop songs.

When I'm not playing, I love to hangout with my cat, Midnight and I also LOVE Marvel!

  • How much does this cost?
The total for the 5 day camp from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm is $300. This includes all materials and music, plus a healthy snack each day.
  • Are there payment options?
Yes! There is a split payment option of $150.00.
  • What happens if my student can't make a day of camp?
No worries at all! I understand that families may have prearranged appointment during that week. If your child cannot make a day of camp, they will still be able to participate. Any handouts that are given out during that class will be given to your student the following day.
  • Why is the final concert requried?
It's important for each student to get the full camp experience, which includes the final conert. Playing in the final concert will not only grow student's confidence while playing but also let them practice the skill of performing. In addition, this camp is ensemble focused meaning that students will have designated music parts for each piece. If one student is unable to perform in the concert that means the part is not covered for the final performance.
  • Why do students need to submit a playing video?
This is to help me assign students different parts for each piece. I want the music each student plays to be challenging yet fun. The submitted video is not an audition. As long as each student who registers meets the age and playing experience requirement, they will be accepted until the camp is at capacity.
  • Where does the camp take place?
At my home studio near Bryd Park and Fountain Lake in the City of Richmond.
  • What if I have additional questions?
Please email all additional questions to
